Brittney Sharma brings over a decade of experience in community-based services, with a focus on youth care, mental health, and substance use. Prior to joining Taproot, she held senior leadership roles overseeing a wide range of programs that supported Indigenous and high-risk youth across the Lower Mainland.

Born and raised in East Vancouver, Brittney is a first-generation Canadian with roots in the Fiji Islands. She now lives in Surrey and has spent her career supporting families, young people, and frontline teams across the region.

Her leadership is grounded in collaboration, equity, and cultural safety, values that align closely with Taproot’s purpose and direction. Outside of work, she enjoys taking trail walks with her dog, Ziggy, trying new restaurants, and discovering the best sauna and cold plunge spots in BC.
