John Kay is a CPA (CMA) with an MBA and more than 25 years of experience at the intersection of finance, governance, and social impact. He is the CEO of Realize Solutions and leads Aspen Community Developments, where his work focuses on strengthening organizations through sound financial stewardship, governance, and values-aligned strategy.

John brings deep boardroom experience, including service on the Co-operators Board’s Audit and Finance Committee, and contributions to a range of nonprofit and cooperative boards spanning community development, social enterprise, financial services, and the arts.
