Lisa Sinfield

Director of Special Projects

Since 2002, Lisa Sinfield has been deeply engaged in the disability sector, supporting children and adults in all aspects of their lives, including education, home life, and employment. Her work has spanned a variety of settings and roles, all grounded in a strong commitment to accessibility and inclusion. In 2024, she joined Taproot Community Support Services as the Program Director for the Edmonton Diverse Abilities Program.

Lisa has recently transitioned into the role of Director of Special Projects, where she applies her extensive program expertise to help guide Taproot’s strategic growth and development. Her passion for accessibility and practical knowledge of the field play a meaningful role in supporting the organization’s evolving vision.

Outside of work, Lisa finds joy in spending time with her husband, son, and their beloved pets. She recharges through reading, crafting, and diving into video games to spark her creativity and keep her energized.
