Tracy Atkin is the Director of Specialized Services at Taproot Community Support Services, overseeing Indigenous Cultural Supports, Clinical Enhancement, and Integrative Behaviour Support Services. Since joining Taproot in 2008, Tracy has brought a wealth of experience as a Master Social Worker, specializing in diverse abilities, children, and families.

Tracy blends research-informed approaches with a deep respect for Indigenous values, traditions, and strengths, always prioritizing ethical best practices. She applies a trauma-informed lens to her work, emphasizing therapeutic relationships and strength-based practices.

When not working, Tracy enjoys spending time with her rescue dogs, Bruno and Daisy.
